another easy way is to enter a random Donation site like redcross. and go on to donate 5euro and choose to be anynomous.
then choose to pay with mastercard or visa. put in CC number , Cvc code and EXP date
and you can put a false name they cant check that.
Then donate, if card has VBV/MSC that screen will pop up and you can now close the browser window and now knowing that it has VBV and with this method you dont risk to decline the card.
If it does not have vbv well then you donated 5 euro and even if you wait 2 weeks before you use the card the owner will most likely not notice or care about a 5 euro transaction as that amount is not suspicious.
