Some questions/answers on a free browser for anonymity (portable, registration is not required) - sphere.tenebris.cc

——

Brief browser features:
1. You can have different personalities with different connections literally in each tab (you can use proxies, socks, tunnels - which you need to buy somewhere, of course. Or you can use the TOR connection)
2. Unlike TorBrowser, fingerprints are also substituted, which will not be used to calculate
3. Initially, the program asks for a password, which in the future is always used at the entrance. Without it, access to data does not get
4. The browser works in the OTR mode and in the open form the data is stored only in RAM, everything is encrypted and without having a password from point 3 you just can’t read it
5. The browser is portable, so you can keep, for example, on a flash drive.
6. well, by anonymity - for example, the same WebRTC is blocked by which you can calculate the real ip when using a proxy, reading is blocked by geo (this is not the same as by ip)

How can I change the interface language?

- Edit -> Preferences -> Language -> Russian

——

What to do when an error occurs with the launch of Sphere.exe (for example, the absence of VCRUNTIME140.dll)?

- Try using the installer tools/vcredistx64.exe in the program folder

——

What if the alert writes "Failed to create OpenGL context ..." or "Testing Tor Connection, please wait" and does not go further?

- Check Edit -> Preferences -> Use GPU OpenGL and restart browser

——

What to do if after closing the settings fly off and each time you have to set it all over again?

- You most likely have Cyrillic in the path to the folder with the browser. Move to the browser in a folder where there is no Cyrillic alphabet in the path, and everything will work.

Planning a version for android?

- Yes, there are thoughts on this subject, but this is already in 2019.

——

What is the difference between paid and free version?

- Paid for work, free - for anonymity. In the free version, WebRTC and WebGL are off, there is no checker, there are no flexible session settings, there is no choice of configs and the ability to buy configs in the shop, etc. additional tools - a webemulator for working with cookies, an automaton for automating routine actions, the presence of a checker with the MaxMind base. In more detail you can compare the documentation of sphere.tenebris.cc and ls.tenebris.cc

——

Are the sources of this browser open?

- This browser is not open source, this is proprietary software - initially we had a paid browser version, which is more than a year already (talking about ls.tenebris.cc, here is the chat - @spherechat).

Many users asked for a free version, so we decided to cut down the paid functionality and release a free version for anonymity, for everyone. The fact that the software does not send extra requests anywhere can be checked with any sniffer, for example, WireShark. Plus, you probably mean some backdoors or viruses in it - we have a reputation for spoiling such things would not be very reasonable.

The free version is not an open source because there is an important part of the functionality of the paid version, for example, Proxifier. Which allows you to have different connections and personalities in literally every tab. Each person has their own fingerprints, geo and WebRTC are disabled so that they cannot be calculated, etc. Roughly speaking, you can have 3 accounts in 3 tabs, respectively. Each has its own proxy/tunnel. If you open the browser code, then competitors will simply drag it away or a bunch of homemade products will appear, which we would not want.

P.S. Friends, in the last days of the outgoing year, there will most likely be New Year discounts on a subscription, keep abreast of luck and good luck in the New Year!
